One Thousand Gifts (continued)

"Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment"
(1 Timothy 6:17).

On Saturday night, we were purposeful in enjoying some simple pleasures, such as skipping rocks in Lake Ontario. Who would have known that that would be so much fun, right?  God provides us with ample opportunities to enjoy the simple pleasures of life.  These are gifts from God.  We never lack the amount of simple pleasures all around us, however we often lack open eyes to see them and to enjoy them.  God created these simple pleasures for us to enjoy.  Thank-you, God for the many, many simple pleasures!
