"I want them to be strengthened and joined together with love so that they may be rich in their understanding. This leads to their knowing fully God's secret, that is, Christ Himself" (Colossians 2:2).
My needs are different than his needs.
His needs are different than my needs.
Just when I was feeling down and thinking he's not meeting my needs, he comes home for lunch yesterday and says, "I would like to take you out for dinner tonight." I slumped my shoulders and made a pouty face, looked at him and said, "But, I'm grumpy." He said, "So am I!" We had a great time out for dinner, just the two of us. We had fun shopping too (yes, I married a guy who likes to shop)!!
After 16 years, with some very bumpy roads along the way, he still melts my heart. I pray that I can meet his needs like he meets mine.

WoW! A husband that shops. Mine only enjoys it when he's shopping for machinery. BUT because he loves me he will put on a good face for other shopping. Praying that next week you will have your visa.
Yay, comments! Finally, I will be able to get a few things off my chest :)
Love this post. It's so important to keep the dates going for the rest of our married lives. Only you would take a photo in front of Crabby Joe's! So cute.
Woohoo, comments, this is so much easier!! Thank you!
Dennis loves shopping too, isn't that great!
Thinking of you and hope Deborah's visa will come in soon!!!
Maria ( still waiting)
