One Thousand Gifts (continued)

"And I pray that you, being rooted an established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ" (Ephesians 3:17b-18).

Sometimes I wish that I could be perched up high like this bird of prey.  I would be able to look down at my troubles, doubts, and worries, and they would seem so small.

This is what God's love is like.

Last night, our guest pastor preached from Ephesians 3:14-21 and reminded us  about how deep, wide, long, and high God's love is for us.

Knowing that God's love is so high and that He is not perched up high, but that He is all around us, is so comforting.  His love is high and He sees the big picture of our lives.

His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts, but He knows what's best for us.  I need to keep trusting in Him, knowing that His love is deep, wide, long and so high!  Thank-you, Father!

Continuing to give thanks...
